Audience feedback

We used the medium of facebook, youtube and our fellow media peers to colect a sample of feedback of our product, the resposes are as followed;

Editing time was divided between the three of us, some of the people i worked with had little experience with the macs, so knew little of its potential, as a group we could all put our knowledge together and help teach how to use the software. Different effects were applied to different clips & then in most cases taken off and replaced with different transitions or effects. There was alot of trial and error, and replacing of clips when we realised that they didnt sit as well as we thought they would. The editing part was possibly the hardest as matching up clips to the voices and making them last the right amount of time was very time consuming. The software also didnt seem to like us inserting clips along the timeline as it would completly shift the whole proget along when we did. We tried numerous things to counteract this but in the end we just had to accept that it wasnt going to fix itself, and made our lives eaiser by inserting bookmarks before each clip (there were alot of clips)

Ancillary poster

Noticed that this poster didn't correspond with the other ancillary task( which is the digi pak in which this poster was meant to be advertising) although i noticed that the texts didn't match, i didn't realise that the photos where completely unrelated till recently. To over come this i have take the album cover and used it as the photo in the advert, the new updated version looks like this....

Mock up

Whilst doing my mock up for the ancillery task, i noticed that the sizes dont match up, it didnt occur to me during the creation that the layouts would have to be the same, i will have to look into this. It may meen that another 2 photos are required. I though of the possibility of simly cropping the photos but as you can see below this looses valuable information.

Digipak- unused images

The reason that i have choosen to not use this image is that the logo, text and colour scheem does not match that of the poster. When put together with the other photos which follow the scheem it sticks out like a sore thumb. i have since redone this cover in a different font, colour and with the correct logo and added infromation.I was also unsure wether we are alowed to use the actual song names from that artists album, so on the new version i have made up songs but also inlcuded songs from the artist.
